The Certificate in Persian Language & Culture offered through the Center for Global & International Studies’ Middle East Studies Program, with the support of the Center for Russian, East European & Eurasian Studies, and the Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures. The certificate is a 4 course certificate.

Farsi/Persian is considered a critical language by the US government, it is a language and culture that factors heavily into contemporary global politics and discussions, and one that offers relevance across professional fields. This certificate provides undergraduate students with a designation of expertise in Persian language and related cultures.
