Majid Hannoum is a Full Professor in the Department of Anthropology. His teaching and research focuses on Anthropology and history, social theory, cultural identity, political modernity, historiography and memory, religion and politics, violence and the state, immigration and globalization. His regional expertise is with the Middle East, North Africa and France.
